Better Foam

We start with a proprietary foam material that replaces a high percentage of the chemicals in standard memory foam, with plant-based alternatives. Our special formula memory foam products are created using a 0-Emission, VPF process, which eliminates harmful pollutants from off-gassing into the atmosphere as a result of the manufacturing process. This patented process exists in only 4 facilities in the world.

Bamboo MemStretch Cover - Bamboo MemStretch combines the durability and renewability of Bamboo into a beatifully stretchable fabric cover for your mattress. There's no padding to move around or get in the way, just a durable, washable barrier of protection for your mattress. Bamboo MemStretch is hypo-allergenic and antimicrobial, so you can rest with peace of mind that your Stata® Eco Layers mattress is good for your body, inside and out.

Super Soft Eco Extreme Open Cell Memory Foam - incredibly soft feel adds to the general softness of the mattress. Open Cell technology means that the memory foam will breath without building up heat as you sleep.

Airflow Layer - Our enhanced Airflow layer is punched with holes throughout the layer, to promote proper anatomic alignment, and also to help dissipate heat from the mattress.

Mid-Fast Transition Layer - Our Transition Layer provides a middle ground between the comfort layers you sleep on, and the firm support layers at the bottom of your mattress. Without this important layer, you would have a sensation of "bottoming out" on the foundation base layers, resulting in increased pressure. This layer smooths out the tranition from soft to firm, making the perfect balance for your body, no matter how you sleep.

BioFoam Core Support - The Biofoam Core Support layer provides the real strength of the mattress to keep your body aligned in proper position. It makes for a a perfect combination with the softer layers above.

Fast Response Base Foam - Fast Reponse base foam is the bottom layer, and is tough enough to support all the layers above it, and also withstand the pressure of sitting on top of a box spring or platform. Fast Response means it doesn't have any of the comfort of some of the higher layers, as the foam springs right back into position when pressed.

  • Green Process Product

    This product utilizes rapidly renewing and biodegradable materials. A zero emissions chamber is utilized requiring fewer chemicals and less energy in the production of our mattresses.

    Post production our mattresses are shipped, once again, utilizing the most environmentally friendly methods available.

Environmentally Conscious Manufacturing Process

Variable Pressure Foaming. A method of making flexible polyurethane foam where the foam machine in enclosed in a pressure vessel or chamber for the purpose of controlling foam properties. By controlling atmospheric pressure, for example, densityand ILD can be independent. This type of equipment does not require CFC's to achieve very soft foams and does not emit VOC's into the atmosphere.

Our technology is based on vacuum and pressure foaming process variables. This prevents from using external uncontrollable agents (such as CFC/HCFC, Methylene Chloride, CO2...). The chambers of VPF system can be considered closed reactors, where the pressure can be constantly fixed and controlled.

Among the different qualities of VPF method, the high environmental compatibility is to be mentioned. The tunnel in which this process takes place is completely closed and the gases generated during the foaming reaction are collected inside the plant and are cleaned by active coal filters before being released in the atmosphere.

  • Pre-Activated

    All memory foam products need to have their cells activated or “broken in” before providing ultimate comfort. Other memory foam products can take weeks before comfort is realized.

    All of our Strata® Eco Layers products go through a double activation process so you will immediately experience comfort and support on the “first night sleep” which will continue for many years to come. There is also no need for flipping or rotating of the mattress.

  • Temperature Neutral

    Strata® Eco Layers use a patented production process to create memory foam that is not temperature sensitive. The slightest temperature change can alter the firmness/feel of memory foam. Typically, the warmer the room, the softer the mattress…the colder the room, the firmer the mattress.

    Strata® Eco Layers stay virtually temperature neutral with a 30 degree temperature change. The comfort and support you feel at 80 degrees will be the same as you feel from 65 to 95 degrees.

  • We Recycle

    As a company, we re-use up to 17% pre-consumer recycled material for the base material of our mattress. Furthermore, all of the foam scraps resulting from the manufacturing process are 100% recyclable.

  • Lower Carbon Footprint

    Few people think about the shipping process, when considering the ecological impact of a product, but transportation represents a significant part of the overall footprint. That's why we compress our mattresses into a shippable package that is 1/5 of a traditional packaging method, for an 80% reduction in shipping space needed.
